Why did you pursue an MBA, and in particular, why the 1Y program?
The 1Y program was the perfect choice for me. It allowed me to fully accomplish my MBA goals and to quickly get back on track with my career. At the same time, the 1Y program gave me the opportunity to live the full-time MBA experience, both in terms of access to great career opportunities and incredible personal experiences.
What activities (clubs) were you involved in? How did these activities contribute to your overall Kellogg experience?
I was co-chair of the Marketing Club and part of the organizing committee for the Latin American Business Conference. My involvement in these activities helped me not only contribute to Kellogg as an active member of the school but also to connect deeper with the broader Kellogg community, especially with classmates in the 2Y program.
How would you describe the Kellogg culture and community?
Hands down, the best thing about Kellogg is the people. Kellogg has the smartest and most interesting people that I have ever met. What is most impressive is that Kellogg students all are very friendly, collaborative and outgoing while being very competitive, energetic and hard working at the same time.
How has the MBA helped you with your post-Kellogg career path?
While I had over six years of marketing experience in CPG prior to going to Kellogg and I continued my career in marketing, my MBA helped me to switch to the tech industry. Moreover, the MBA experience really broadened my vision and business perspective. Kellogg helped me to improve my leadership and communication skills and develop a socially responsible approach in my job and personal life.
