Do I need to come to campus to participate in Kellogg online programs?


No, most of our programs are 100% online, and available to participants regardless of their location. We also offer some programs in a blended format, where participants can take advantage of both online and on campus learning.

Do I need to log into a Kellogg online program at specific times?


There are no set class times and participants can complete the work on a schedule that works best for them. That said, there are certain deadlines that must be met on a weekly basis with the goal of keeping the cohort focused on the same topics to maximize learning outcomes. Most programs offer live sessions with Kellogg faculty or subject matter experts that are optional to attend.

Can I work ahead of the program pace?


For all programs, new modules and exercises will be released on a regular set schedule so you are not able to work ahead.

Will I have access to the materials in a module after I complete it?


Yes. You will have access to the program learning platform for a period of up to one year following the end of the program.

Can I register for a program on behalf of someone else?

 
Yes. HR and administrative professionals may submit a registration form on behalf of someone else by using the participant’s name and email address.

When should I submit my registration?

 
We recommend submitting your registration at least two weeks in advance of the program start date to facilitate your access to the course site.

How long will it take to process my registration?

 

Online program registrations are processed within two business days of receipt.

How do I access my Kellogg program once I’ve registered?

 
Prior to the program start, you will receive an email (to the email address you registered with) that includes a link to log into the program platform.

Academics


Can I earn academic credit for participating in a Kellogg online Executive Education program?

 
No. academic credit is not earned for participation in Kellogg Executive Education online programming. You will, however, join Kellogg’s global community of learners and will have the opportunity to build relationships with peers from around the world.

What do I receive upon completion of the program?

 

Upon successful completion of an online program, participants will receive a Kellogg Executive Education Certificate of Completion. Certificates are delivered electronically to your preferred email address after the program ends.

Do online programs count towards the Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate?

 

Yes, our Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate includes online programs. For a full list of Executive Scholar Certificate program options and requirements, please visit the certificate page or contact us to speak with the certificate advisor: scholars@kellogg.northwestern.edu or 847.467.6018.

Costs, Financial Assistance and Payment Options


Will I need to purchase any materials?


For most programs, your program fee covers all materials that will be accessed on the learning platform. Any additional fees for extra certificates will be communicated during the application process.

Are there any discounts available for Kellogg online programs?


Northwestern University and Kellogg alumni are eligible for a 15% discount on all Senior Executive Programs, and a 30% discount on all other Executive Education programs.

Groups of four or more from a single organization who participate in the same cohort may be eligible for a discount if registrations are received at the same time. Please contact us at 847.467.6018 or execedonline@kellogg.northwestern.edu for specific instructions and assistance or for other questions about pricing.

When is payment due?


Enrollment is not confirmed until full payment is received. Payment may accompany the registration, or an invoice can be sent. Full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. If the participant is enrolling within 30 days of the program’s start date, full payment is due immediately.

What is Kellogg’s cancellation policy?


Notice of cancellation must be received in writing to execedcancellations@kellogg.northwestern.edu and the following schedule of refund amounts prior to the program start date will apply:

  • >30 days --   Full refund
  • 7-30 days --  50% refund
  • <7 days --      No refund

Refunds will be issued in the same format as originally received.

Northwestern University reserves the right to cancel a program at any time for any reason. In the unlikely event of a program cancellation, paid program fees will be refunded.
