For Woody Zhang, healthcare isn’t just a career — it’s deeply personal. After watching his mother battle a chronic illness and later witnessing a game-changing Johnson & Johnson product save his wife’s life, he knew he wanted to dedicate his life to making a difference in the field. “Seeing how innovation in healthcare saved my wife and gave my family hope was a turning point for me,” Woody said. “It’s what drives me every day.”
Woody’s decision to pursue a Two-Year MBA at Kellogg was rooted in his desire to combine business acumen with his passion for healthcare. Inspired by mentors and influential leaders in China — including luminaries in biotech and healthcare investment — he was drawn to the school’s reputation for fostering collaboration and innovation. “Kellogg’s network of leaders in healthcare is unmatched,” he said. “I wanted to be part of a community that’s shaping the future of the industry.”
During his time at Kellogg Woody immersed himself in courses and experiences that bridged business strategy and healthcare innovation. From case studies on global healthcare systems to hands-on projects with biotech startups he gained practical insights that now inform his work at Johnson & Johnson.
