Adapting to life at Kellogg

Kellogg offers select resources for international students to provide the tools you need to excel in a new environment.

Your Global Journey Starts Here

At Kellogg, we recognize that beginning your graduate school experience in a new country brings exciting opportunities, new perspectives, and unique challenges. Whether you're preparing to arrive in Evanston, navigating American classroom culture, or building connections within the Kellogg community, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Through a combination of pre-arrival resources, immersive onboarding experiences, and ongoing programming, Kellogg Global Experience helps international students build the confidence, connections, and skills to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

International Student Resource Center

Your go-to guide for life at Kellogg and in the U.S.

The International Student Resource Center serves as a central hub for information and resources to help international students navigate their transition to Kellogg and life in the United States. From preparing for your arrival to settling into a new community, the Resource Center offers practical guidance to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported.

International Student Onboarding Series

Get ready for Kellogg, no matter where you are in the world.

The International Student Onboarding Series is designed to help newly admitted international students prepare for their transition to Kellogg before arriving on campus. Through a series of interactive virtual sessions, students hear directly from Kellogg staff, campus partners, and current students about topics essential to a successful transition.

From navigating the visa process and finding housing to understanding student life and preparing for the classroom, the series provides practical insights and opportunities to ask questions, build confidence, and connect with the Kellogg community.

American Culture and English (ACE) Program

Build confidence, community, and cultural understanding before classes begin.

The American Culture and English (ACE) Program is an immersive, pre-term experience designed to help incoming international students transition to the American MBA classroom and life at Kellogg.

Through interactive workshops, classroom discussions, cultural activities, and opportunities to connect with fellow students, participants strengthen their communication skills, explore American cultural norms, and gain confidence navigating academic and social experiences. ACE also provides an opportunity to build meaningful friendships and become part of the Kellogg community before the academic year begins. Don't let the name fool you - native and non-native English speakers alike will benefit from participation in ACE!

International Student Lunch & Learns

Keep learning, connecting, and exploring throughout the year.

Learning about a new culture doesn't stop after orientation! The International Student Lunch & Learn Series creates opportunities for students to explore different aspects of American culture, society, and professional life through informal, engaging conversations during the academic year!

In collaboration with Kellogg clubs, these sessions bring students together to discuss topics ranging from American business and politics to sports, and entertainment. Designed to encourage curiosity and dialogue, the series helps students deepen their cultural understanding while building connections across the Kellogg community.
