For working professional students, career growth rarely follows a straight line. Some professionals pursue promotions within their organizations. Others seek new industries, functions or companies. Many want to strengthen their leadership capabilities while balancing demanding careers and personal responsibilities.

The Kellogg Evening & Weekend MBA Program is designed to support all of those paths. The Class of 2025 demonstrates how the program helps professionals build the confidence, skills and network needed to create meaningful career momentum while continuing to work full time.

Within four months of graduation, 46% of the class had changed companies, and 50% of those graduates had moved into a new function entirely. Among those who changed employers, 59% transitioned into new industries and 40% changed locations, illustrating the many ways a Kellogg MBA can accelerate a career.

Compensation outcomes further reflect the value of the degree. Graduates reported a median total compensation of $173,500, including salary and signing bonuses.

An MBA degree that prepares you for any direction

Graduates in the Class of 2025 entered a wide range of industries and functions. This year’s data underscores the versatility of the Evening & Weekend MBA experience. Top industry segments include:

  • Financial services (21%)
  • Healthcare (15%)
  • Technology (12%)

Across functions, graduates pursued opportunities in:

  • Finance (30%)
  • Marketing and sales (23%)
  • Consulting (17%)

The program is also designed to help students become more effective leaders capable of driving impact across organizations and industries. That preparation is reflected in how graduates view their own growth. According to student satisfaction surveys, 89% of graduates said their Kellogg experience prepared them to lead in a global workforce. For many graduates, the degree is not simply a new credential but a broader perspective on leadership and a greater confidence in their ability to drive change.

Career coaching that delivers real results

Behind many of these career outcomes is the support of the Kellogg Career Management Center (CMC), which provides personalized coaching, workshops and employer engagement opportunities tailored to working professionals.

During the 2024-25 academic year, the CMC delivered nearly 1,000 coaching appointments for Evening & Weekend students. Forty-four percent of students participated in coaching services, and coaching sessions earned an average satisfaction rating of 4.83 out of 5.0. The CMC also hosted 25 workshops and employer information sessions covering topics ranging from job-search strategy to first-time leadership success.

For Michaela Francisco ’25 MBA, the support made a meaningful difference. “I graduated in June and recently accepted a full-time offer as a Strategy and Innovation Lead at CenterWell. Career advisors and the CMC have been incredibly helpful in me landing my new role,” she said.

Creating momentum for the future

For the Class of 2025, growth took many forms: promotions, career pivots, new industries, expanded leadership responsibilities and increased confidence. Together, these outcomes illustrate the return on an Evening & Weekend MBA experience that empowers students to define success on their own terms.
