Early-career professionals need more than business theory. They need practical skills, access to employers and the confidence to contribute from day one. Ranked #1 in the U.S. and #7 globally by QS, the Kellogg Master in Management (MiM) program gives graduates exactly that — even in a challenging job market — according to new employment results for the Classes of 2024 and 2025.

Among Class of 2025 graduates seeking employment, 85% accepted a full-time job or post-graduate internship within six months of graduation. Compensation data provides another measure of graduates’ early-career momentum. Across the Classes of 2024 and 2025, median expected first-year compensation was $80,000 and ranged from $64,250 (25th percentile) to $91,500 (75th percentile).

“This demonstrates the strength of the MiM program as an early-career launchpad, helping students build a strong foundation in business, translating their interests into clear career goals and entering the workforce ready to make an impact,” said Thomas Hubbard, Professor of Strategy and Director of the MiM program.

Graduates are building careers across industries

Organizations hiring Kellogg MiM talent in 2024 and 2025 include Amazon, Chicago Fire Football Club, Citi, CVS Health, Deloitte, McKinsey & Co., Morgan Stanley, Procter & Gamble and PwC. These employers span industries and business functions, reflecting the versatility MiM graduates bring to the workplace.

Across companies and industries, financial services was the leading destination, attracting 26% of graduates. Consulting followed at 15%, technology at 14% and media and entertainment at 12%. Graduates also pursued opportunities in healthcare, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, real estate and other sectors.

Graduates’ career paths were equally varied by function. Finance and accounting roles accounted for 32% of employment, while 24% of graduates entered marketing and sales and 18% pursued consulting. Others launched careers in general management, operations and logistics, and business development.

Roles Kellogg MiM graduates are undertaking include business, financial and investment analysts; associate consultants; associate brand managers; project managers; supply chain specialists; and ESG and sustainability associates.

Career preparation before, during and after the program

Career development is built into the MiM experience from the beginning. Before classes start, students participate in a summer bootcamp series featuring sessions such as “Building Your Brand,” “Crafting Your Pitch” and “Acing Your Interview.” They are also introduced to case interviews and other recruiting preparation so they can begin the program ready to pursue opportunities.

That support continues throughout the student experience through individual coaching, workshops and access to the Kellogg network. It also produces confidence that extends beyond the first job: In the 2024-25 MiM Student Satisfaction Exit Surveys, 84% of respondents said their Kellogg experience prepared them to lead in a global workforce.

“Kellogg challenged me to see not just new perspectives, but new possibilities — the difference between understanding what something means and unlocking why it matters,” says AV Vo ’25 MiM. “That instinct followed me well past the classroom, into how I show up at work and even how I approach problems in life. It's a skill I didn't have walking in, and one I now carry everywhere.”

Career support does not end at graduation. As members of the Kellogg alumni community, MiM graduates continue to have access to individual coaching, career workshops and Kellogg Executive Education opportunities as their goals evolve.

For students considering a MiM degree, the question is straightforward: Will the program provide job-ready skills, connections to employers and a strong start to their careers? These outcomes offer a clear answer. Kellogg MiM graduates are entering a wide range of roles at leading organizations with the skills, experience and confidence to make an immediate impact — and a foundation they can build on throughout their careers.
