For today’s senior leaders, career success is no longer defined by climbing a single corporate ladder. It means having the skills, confidence and network to navigate changing industries, lead across cultures and markets and seize new opportunities as they emerge.

The Kellogg Executive MBA (EMBA) Class of 2025 embodies that reality. Graduates leveraged their Kellogg experience to move across organizations, functions and industries while expanding their leadership impact in an increasingly interconnected business environment.

More than half of graduates changed organizations, functions or industries within four months of graduation, demonstrating that a Kellogg EMBA is more than a credential. It is a catalyst for career transformation.

Building careers designed for change

The pace of technological innovation, economic uncertainty and evolving workplace expectations continues to reshape how organizations operate. For experienced professionals, staying relevant requires more than expertise in a single discipline.

The Executive MBA Program is designed to help leaders develop the strategic thinking, global perspective and collaborative leadership skills needed to thrive amid change.

The Class of 2025’s outcomes reflect that preparation:

  • 47% earned a promotion after graduation
  • 37% changed job function
  • 30% changed industries
  • 12% started or are starting their own venture

The industries represented by the Class of 2025 demonstrate the breadth of opportunities available to EMBA graduates. Healthcare (18%), financial services (17%) and technology (13%) were the most represented sectors, while graduates pursued roles spanning manufacturing, consulting, consumer products and transportation.

According to recent student satisfaction surveys, 91% of graduates said their Kellogg experience prepared them to lead in a global workforce. That global preparation extends beyond the classroom. Students can take electives across Kellogg’s six-campus Global Network, study emerging markets and participate in Global Network Week, which brings together more than 400 executive students for cross-cultural learning, collaboration and networking. These experiences help leaders broaden their perspectives and practice navigating complex business situations with peers from different geographies and industries.

Additionally, 92% reported feeling more enthusiastic and better prepared for their careers because of the EMBA Program. These results reflect the program’s emphasis on developing leaders who can navigate complex business challenges, build alignment across cultures and lead across organizations.

A global network and career support for every stage of leadership

Career growth is powered not only by new skills but also by strong professional relationships. The Executive MBA Global Network connects students across campuses in Asia, Canada, Europe and the United States, creating opportunities to exchange ideas and develop relationships with leaders who bring firsthand knowledge of markets around the world.

Those connections continue after graduation through the school’s broader global alumni network, which includes more than 70,000 alumni across more than 100 countries. Together, these communities create opportunities for graduates to build relationships, gain perspectives from different regions and access new professional opportunities throughout their lives.

The Kellogg Career Management Center (CMC) also helps EMBA students translate their experience, skills and aspirations into meaningful career advancement. Over the past year, the CMC delivered nearly 1,200 coaching appointments, with coaching sessions earning an average satisfaction rating of 4.83 out of 5. Half of EMBA students participated in coaching services.

“My CMC Career Coach helped me understand how to turn real work into a compelling and structured narrative,” says Ed Souto ’24 MBA. “The effect was immediate.”

For Souto and many other graduates, the CMC’s guidance proved instrumental in helping them communicate their value and pursue new opportunities. Whether students are pursuing promotions, entrepreneurship or broader career moves, the Kellogg global community and career resources support leaders at every stage of their professional journey.
