Each year, we invite admitted MBA students to join us for Day at Kellogg (DAK), a weekend of events and activities at the Global Hub that show them our vibrant community and culture.

This is a great way to meet future classmates and make new connections. Kellogg admits also connect with professors and learn more about how our world-class faculty seeks to inspire, motivate and challenge students in the classroom.

Get real insights into what life at Kellogg could be like, and engage with alumni and current students who will also be on campus to answer questions and share their experiences.

Come for the information. Stay for the inspiration.  See you soon!

Check out what current Two-Year MBA students Alex (Alejandra) Rodriguez ’25 and Ariel Tseng ’25 have to say about the unique experience and what they’re excited about for this year’s DAK.

Describe your DAK experience in a few words or a phrase.

Alex (Alejandra) Rodriguez: Friendly, informative, community-driven

Ariel Tseng: Fulfilling, inspiring, welcoming

What was one of the biggest takeaways for you after you attended?

Rodriguez: DAK Confirmed to me how friendly and welcoming the Kellogg community was!

Tseng: Everyone can find their niche and support in this large community.

Alex Rodriguez is also part of the executive board for the Culture is Made (CIM) incoming student orientation and has served as a leader for KWEST, a global experience for incoming Two-Year MBAs.

What motivated you to be on this year’s DAK executive board?

Rodriguez: DAK was instrumental in helping me choose Kellogg as my MBA program, so I wanted to be part of the team that helps students make such an important life decision!

Tseng: I wanted to contribute and shape future “DAKees” experience. Both my JV and I left DAK feeling encouraged because we saw how Kellogg came together as a community. We felt a sense of belonging and knew we had found our community.

Ariel Tseng has experience in the marketing industry and plans to explore opportunities in tech and product marketing upon graduation.

What are you most excited about as we approach DAK?

Rodriguez: I am super excited about the section experience and the affinity group connects. I am very involved with my section and strongly believe they are such a quintessential part of the Kellogg experience! I also love how passionate all of our affinity groups are, and they do a wonderful job at representing the various cultures and perspectives that Kellogg welcomes.

Tseng: I am most excited about the mock class experience and small group dinners! Kellogg has some of the most amazing professors who volunteered their time to give “DAKees” a glimpse of the classroom experience. I want to attend them all if I could!

My favorite part of DAK is the small group dinners. They are such an important part of the Kellogg culture that I’m so glad we can bring them to the DAK experience! Getting to eat a meal with total strangers and then walking out feeling like you made eight new friends is an amazing feeling.
