Instructions for live-streaming:

What browsers are supported?

For the best experience when viewing a Livestream broadcast, we recommend the following:

To watch an event on Livestream, please ensure you have the following:

  • System Requirements: Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X 10.6 or higher
  • Supported desktop browsers: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, Safari 8 or higher, Microsoft Edge, **Internet Explorer 11
  • Supported mobile browsers: Chrome, Safari (iOS)
  • Adobe Flash Player: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ (Not required for Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
  • Internet Connection: 5-10mbps download speed is recommended. Check your connection at www.speedtest.net.

**Please see Microsoft's statement regarding Internet Explorer support.

If you find that you are experiencing issues while viewing with Internet Explorer, click here for troubleshooting steps.
What kind of Internet connection do I need to view?
We recommend viewing Livestream from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of at least 700Kbps. If the event producer is encoding at a higher bitrate you will likely need a higher speed.

To test your speed, go to www.speedtest.net. Bandwidth fluctuates constantly (especially on Wi-Fi and mobile internet), so running 3 tests is recommended.

As a general rule your download bandwidth must be greater than the bitrate of the event broadcast you're trying to view.

Can I view Livestream on a mobile device

To view an event on a mobile device, just go to the event page via your mobile browser or Livestream Mobile app.

Open the browser on your mobile device. You can either type in livestream.com and use the search tool to find an event you are looking for, or type in the full URL of the event you are looking for if you know it.

When you arrive to the event page, click the play button on the player in the browser to open the live player.
