Faculty Affairs Symposium 2016 | January 14

The Faculty Affairs Symposium is designed to allow faculty affairs colleagues from across the university explore topics related to faculty mentorship and development, diversity and inclusion, and data management.

Symposium attendees will be joined by over twenty faculty members, administrators, and university leaders who will share their personal experiences and unique approaches for success on these topics through informative presentations and breakout sessions throughout the day.

The Faculty Affairs Symposium will feature several group presentations, panels, and speakers from across the university:

  • Nim Chinniah, Executive Vice President
  • Daniel Linzer, Provost
  • William L. Lowe, Jr, MD, Vice Dean Academic Affairs of Feinberg
  • Mike Fleming MD/MPH, NUCATS

Symposium attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a facilitated panel on diversity featuring:

  • Jabbar Bennett, Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion,Northwestern University
  • Lindsay Chase-Landsdale, Associate Provost for Faculty, Northwestern University
  • Anise Wiley-Little, Chief Human Capital and Diversity Officer, Kellogg School of Management
  • Clyde Yancy, MD, Vice Dean for Diversity and Inclusion, Chief, Division of Medicine-Cardiology, Feinberg School of Medicine

Breakout Sessions:

There will be multiple breakout sessions on topics related to faculty mentorship and development, diversity and inclusion, and data management throughout the day for Symposium attendees.
