Executive Director of the Abrams Climate Academy
Matthew Roling is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Kellogg School of Management, and the inaugural Executive Director of the Abrams Climate Academy. The Abrams Climate Academy at the Kellogg School of Management is a year-long experiential learning program that equips graduate students with the tools, knowledge, and connections to lead climate action and develop innovative solutions to the climate crisis.
His professional practice is situated at the intersection of business, policy, and our environment. He previously worked for KPMG LLP where he helped both corporate and government clients measure greenhouse gas pollution, develop strategies to reduce emissions, and identify funding sources to pay for decarbonization. He has also worked for Detroit-based Wayne State University as the Executive Director of Business Innovation, where he led both student entrepreneurship and the technology transfer office.
He has taught at Fordham University and Wayne State University. He holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
