Academic Experience

Academic Experience

Your PhD experience includes a deep dive into your chosen field, combined with unparalleled opportunities to connect with faculty from across Kellogg and throughout Northwestern. This approach greatly expands the scope of your training, your access to research resources, your knowledge of the relevant questions in your field, and your exposure to new ideas.

During your years at Kellogg, you will be an important member of a very collegial and supportive academic community. It’s a learning environment that is non-competitive and encourages collaboration: PhD students studying together and doing joint research, and faculty mentors advising students on their research and entry into the job market.
