Types of networking events
Kellogg Networking Night (KNN)
Multi-company, in-person networking event held in Evanston, IL
September/October
Companies and recruiters are given their own table to network with students. This is a valuable opportunity to connect with a wide range of MBA talent and build company and job awareness. First and second-year students will be in attendance.
Company presentations
Single company events that help acquaint Kellogg students with your firm, its culture and its opportunities
September - May
Company presentations offer an opportunity to showcase the opportunities and career paths available to MBA students at your company. Each company is allocated one hour for a planned presentation and networking.
Note: The Kellogg calendar gets full quickly. Our Employer Relations team tries to prevent competing presentations (same industry/function), but there will always be other presentations, as well as speakers, club events and potentially classes up against any presentation.
Timing + class schedules:
- Monday, Tuesday and Friday lunch presentations are one hour from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
- Presentations Monday-Thursday are one hour from 5:15-6:15 p.m.
- Presentations can also be held Monday-Thursday at 7 p.m., either virtually or at off-site venues.
Coffee chats
Individual or small group meetings between students and company reps
September - May
Students rate this as a very popular way to interact with companies and learn about the organization and employment opportunities. Events can take place in-person on campus, at an off-site venue or virtually.
Plaza hours
Informal booth set up during high-traffic times with students
September - May
Company representatives set up a table in Gies Plaza during high-traffic times at the Global Hub to make their company know to MBA students.
