Join fellow Kellogg alumni for a meaningful morning of service in downtown Nashville. Volunteers will help serve breakfast and distribute essential items to approximately 200 individuals experiencing homelessness. Afterward, we'll assist with cleanup and gather for a team breakfast nearby to connect, reflect, and build community with fellow alumni.

The Hope Center
October 3, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM for a meaningful morning of service at The Hope Center in Blue Island. Together, we'll help address food insecurity in one of Chicagoland's recognized food deserts by harvesting fresh vegetables for local families, winterizing our gardens, and preparing our greenhouse with fresh mulch. This is a family-friendly event! Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help with gardening projects, create and decorate garden signs, and learn about sustainable urban agriculture. If weather moves us indoors, we'll support our hydroponics, aquaponics, and Makers Kitchen by cleaning equipment and preparing our food production spaces for the upcoming harvest. Doors open at 8:00 AM with complimentary coffee and pan dulce before we begin our service projects. After serving, we'll continue the fellowship with a complimentary lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM on site at The Hope Center. Come ready to serve, connect with fellow Kellogg alumni, and grow hope together.

Join us for Kellogg Cares Day with GlobalMedic on Saturday, October 17! For the third year, volunteers will come together to pack hygiene and food kits for families affected by disasters and conflict. GlobalMedic works to get the right aid to the right people at the right time, and the kits packed during Kellogg Cares Day will be sent wherever they’re needed most. It’s a simple way to make a real difference for families going through a crisis. Friends and family of alumni are welcome!
