Kellogg Alumni Council

What We Do

Discover how the Kellogg Alumni Council facilitates global connections across the Kellogg alumni community

The purpose of the Kellogg Alumni Council (KAC) is to serve as strategic partners and leaders in catalyzing our global alumni community, a network that vitally connects alumni to one another and the school throughout their lifetime.

KAC members are champions and ambassadors of Kellogg who strengthen and enrich our network. They dedicate valuable time to:

  • Guiding and influencing the alumni engagement strategy by providing direction, feedback and critical resources
  • Creating strong networks in partnership with the school and fellow alumni leaders
  • Fostering a deep sense of affiliation and pride among alumni
  • Helping build Kellogg's presence and reputation worldwide by serving as key extensions of the school

KAC at a Glance

  • 44 members
  • 36% women
  • 9% international
  • Cover 95% of industries our students enter
  • Lifetime giving is more than $3 million
  • Partner with over 65% of our active clubs

In order to provide comprehensive support to the Kellogg community, KAC members are divided into four working groups that focus on specific initiatives. These include partnering with alumni clubs and affinity networks to build and maintain the lifetime value of the Kellogg network, working with students and other alumni to create sustainable links between the two groups, supporting the admissions office in its outreach to high-potential admitted applicants and scholarship recipients, and shaping global strategies to foster deeper, more meaningful connectivity among the global Kellogg alumni community.

Each group is assigned a lead who is instrumental in driving value for members. KAC working group leaders also help position the Kellogg alumni community to thrive in the future while creating a legacy of progress and innovation that inspires both students and alumni to get involved.

Membership to the KAC is a three-year term, after which members transition to the Pete Henderson Society to continue their mission of promoting global engagement in the Kellogg community.

It is a privilege and honor to play the role of KAC chairman. It has given me numerous opportunities to help develop further our alumni network and elevate the Kellogg brand.

Cesar Estrada ’99 / KAC Chair

In partnership with other KAC members and staff, Cesar and I are committed to raising Kellogg to even greater heights. It is an honor to serve.
