Andrés Meirovich
Andrés Meirovich is Managing Partner of Genesis Ventures, a Latin American venture capital firm investing in high-growth companies and supporting founders across the region, and Adjunct Lecturer of Executive Education at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is the former Chairman of the Chilean Association of Venture Capital and has more than two decades of experience in venture capital, private capital, entrepreneurship, and investment strategy.
He is also Professor and Director of the Center for Private Capital and Business Finance (CCF) at Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina, where he works on initiatives related to private capital, business families, ownership, governance, and next-generation investment capabilities. He also serves as Adjunct Professor at IE Business School in Madrid and remains affiliated with Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, where he previously directed its Venture Capital Program.
Andrés holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi, an MBA from MIT, and both a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Finance from Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. He also completed the Executive Program in Entrepreneurial Innovation at Stanford University.
In addition to his academic work, Andrés has served on the boards of more than ten companies across Latin America and has led the international expansion of Genesis Ventures, including fundraising and the development of relationships with investors and institutions in the United States and Europe. He has also been an Op-Ed columnist for Diario Financiero since 2013.
Andrés received Universidad del Desarrollo’s Alumni of the Year Award in 2010 and was recognized by Diario Financiero as one of Chile’s Young Leaders in 2012.
