Suresh Krishna is President and Chief Executive Officer of Protolabs (NYSE: PRLB). Protolabs is the world’s fastest digital manufacturer enabling companies to accelerate innovation though industry leading speed. Protolabs serves 85% of Fortune 500 companies in key industries—from drones to defense, space, medical devices, and industrial products. Protolabs factories produce injection molding, CNC machining, 3D printing and sheet metal parts in days not weeks. Krishna previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Tool + Equipment, a retailer and manufacturer of industrial products, serving the trades community and small businesses. He has also held operations and leadership roles at companies such as Sleep Number Corporation, Polaris Industries and UTC Fire & Security (Carrier Corp). He serves on the board of National Association of Manufacturing (NAM) and the Global Advisory Board of Kellogg School of Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India) and a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
