Bob Frisch
Bob Frisch is one of the world’s leading strategic facilitators, having designed and conducted meetings in nineteen countries with companies ranging from Fortune 10 multinationals to German mittelstand family businesses, earning over 10 million frequent flier miles along the way. He has spent his career working with CEOs, executive teams and boards on their most vital strategic and organizational challenges, since 2002 as Founding Partner at The Strategic Offsites Group.
Prior to joining the Kellogg school Bob was an External Lecturer in the Advanced Management Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
He has written twenty-five articles for Harvard Business Review, including “Off-Sites That Work” and “Who Really Makes The Big Decisions in Your Company?”. Another of Bob’s articles, “When Teams Can’t Decide”, was named one of HBR’s ‘ten must read’ articles on teams, and his work has been included in fourteen HBR collections. He is the author of two books, Who’s In The Room? How Great Leaders Structure and Manage the Teams Around Them and Simple Sabotage.
Bob was a Founder and Managing Partner of Accenture, where he helped create the Organization & Change Strategy practice. He joined Accenture from Capgemini, where he led the Strategy practice for the Americas. Bob spent the first decade of his career with the Boston Consulting Group.
His first executive role was leading Strategy and Business Development for The Dial Corporation, later becoming a Division President of this Fortune 500 company, since acquired by Henkel. A decade later, he headed Corporate Strategy for Sears, Roebuck and Co., during the historic breakup of Sears’ conglomerate structure.
A magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University, Bob earned his MBA at the Yale School of Management, where he was a Graduate Teaching Fellow in marketing and finance.
Bob and his wife Erin live in Newton Massachusetts and share eight children.
