Levy Inspiration Treks
Discover your entrepreneurial spark
Launched in the 2023–24 academic year, Levy Inspiration Treks are immersive experiences designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in students who aspire to become founders. Each trek centers around a specific topic and takes students to a relevant market where they engage directly with experts and industry leaders. These journeys are more than educational—they are catalysts for innovation, fostering deep connections among like-minded peers and sparking ideas that address real-world challenges. Each trek is led by a faculty expert who curates the content and guides the experience on the ground. Levy Inspiration Treks are open to Kellogg students in all degree programs who are serious about building ventures and making a lasting impact.
Applications typically open a few months before each trek and are publicized via the student email listservs and Slack channels. Keep an eye on these channels or on our website to stay up-to-date on upcoming treks and application windows. 2025-26 treks will be announced at a later date.

Levy Inspiration Grants vs. Levy Inspiration Treks
While investigating our programs, you may wonder whether a Levy Inspiration Grant or a Levy Inspiration Trek is a better fit for you, or if you can participate in multiple opportunities.
Both Inspiration Treks and Inspiration Grants are intended for students who want to be founders and are looking for inspiration beyond secondary/online research:
- An Inspiration Trek is a small group experience led by a faculty member around a particular topic in a particular location, whereas
- An Inspiration Grant is for you (with possibly one other person) to design a self-driven itinerary around nearly any topic in any location.
After participating in one of these programs, you will still be eligible for the other, but we will not be able to prioritize your participation above other applicants.
Feel free to reach out to the Entrepreneurship at Kellogg team if you have questions about whether an Inspiration Grant or Inspiration Trek makes the most sense for you.
