Before graduating, I thought about a pre-law track and I was also really interested in healthcare, but after some internships in the legal field, I realized it wasn’t for me. I wanted something with more problem-solving opportunities, but knew I was lacking some of the core skills the careers I was thinking about required.
The Kellogg MSMS program offered an opportunity to couple my liberal arts education and social policy major with a business program that would really help me get a jump-start on my career.
Kellogg really emphasizes collaboration as a way to problem-solve. I don't think I really understood the value of teamwork before, and not just as a team where you divide and conquer a project. We learn the kind of teamwork where you are working together to achieve a goal. My professors are also really approachable, which I think is also a unique characteristic of this program.
