With both an MBA from Kellogg and an M.S. in Design Innovation from the Segal Design Institute, students in the MMM Program receive a rigorous education that positions them to drive innovation across industries.
  • Develop a unique skill set
The MMM Program’s focus on innovation and end-to-end thinking equips students with an integrated skill set at the intersection of business, technology and design. Students will develop key traits of leading cross-functional teams comprising business strategists, engineers and designers; understanding customer needs through ethnographic research; using human-centered design; leveraging analytics; and developing and executing successful and sustainable business models.
  • Think and do
The MMM Program prepares future business leaders to drive the entire innovation lifecycle of a product, service or business strategy. Students explore, prototype and build ideas in a dedicated studio space, and have the opportunity to apply classroom-gained knowledge in the context of real-world organizations in courses such as Business Innovation Lab and Research Design Build.
  • Build a stellar network
MMM students hold membership in both the Kellogg and McCormick alumni networks. Additionally, the Northwestern MMM alumni network is the largest of its kind — an incredibly diverse yet tight-knit community. MMM alumni provide networking assistance to students seeking internships as well as graduates seeking full-time positions.

Curriculum

The MMM Program is a dual-degree, full-time program that equips students to drive the entire innovation life cycle of a product or service. The MMM Program is comprised of lectures, experiential courses and studio-based classes that take place in both the day and evening. Much of the core coursework in the curriculum requires technical aptitude and the capacity for both analytical and creative thinking. When you graduate from the program, you will find yourself with a new, unique perspective, one that allows you to balance big-picture ideas with the detailed processes that make those ideas come to life.
