Influential guest speakers bring leadership insights to Kellogg audiences

Several high-profile speakers recently visited the Kellogg School, including Gordon Segal, co-founder of Crate and Barrel, (right) and Jack Welch, (above) former chairman and CEO of General Electric. Segal delivered the keynote address at the Alumni Entrepreneur Conference in May where he told the audience, "If you get up every day with a mission, a passion...and you really enjoy doing [your work], it is easy to do." Welch distilled advice from his latest book, extolling the virtues of "being yourself" and "ove-delivering" on the job.
