Executive Education's COVID-19 Safety Plans

Effective April 1, 2023

PARTICIPANT COVID TESTING REQUIREMENTS

Covid-19 testing is not required to attend a Kellogg Executive Education program.

If any participant starts to experience Covid symptoms, they should administer a Rapid test immediately. Kellogg will not have Covid test kits available on-site.

POSITIVE VOLUNTARY TEST RESULTS

If A Participant Tests Positive Within 48 Hours Before Arrival at Kellogg Location

  1. The participant will not be permitted to attend the program.
  2. Open Enrollment Program participants will be permitted to enroll in the next available iteration or cancel their enrollment and receive a refund.
  3. Custom Program participant alternatives will be determined by mutual consent of Kellogg and the client’s contracting representative.

If A Participant Tests Positive After Arrival at Kellogg Location

  1. The participant must report the positive rapid test result immediately to the Kellogg Program Manager and should remain in their bedroom or hotel room The participant will not be permitted to attend the program.
  1. Kellogg Program Manager will notify the designated Kellogg Executive Education Covid Coordinator who will coordinate with the participant to return home. Kellogg will allow any Covid-positive participant to remain at the Allen Center for one additional night while making alternative plans. If participant has extenuating circumstances (very ill, no hotel available), they may extend their stay at the Allen Center if space is available with approval from an Executive Education SLT Member.
  1. Participants will be responsible for the cost of Covid testing and any expenses incurred following a positive Covid test. Kellogg does not provide testing materials.

CLASSROOM AND FACULTY COMMUNICATION

The Program Manager will immediately notify Sheneen Landry, Executive Education Operations Managing Director Sheneen will engage the COVID response team (Diana Cordova, Ann Herring and Steve Peavler).

  1. Sheneen will contact the participant to discuss departure logistics and any special needs.
  2. Diana Cordova will notify the Academic Director and faculty that taught in the program prior to the positive test. All future faculty will not be notified after participant has departed from the classroom. Future faculty are required to teach in person to the class unless they have an approved exception.
  3. Ann Herring or designated Business Development representative will contact the Custom Program client decision maker.
  4. Steve Peavler will notify key FLIK staff.

Following the above communications, the Kellogg Program Manager or Covid Response Team member will announce any positive test result to participants in the program. The announcement to the class will be made prior to the start of class, prior to the lunch break or at end of day. The name of the participant that tests positive will not be revealed to the program participants, faculty and any Kellogg staff that are not directly involved in the program delivery. The remaining participants will be encouraged to wear masks and any participant that develops symptoms should test immediately. The class will continue as scheduled. Kellogg will not convert the program to hybrid delivery.

OFFSITE ACTIVITIES HENRY CROWN SPORTS PAVILLION

When attending an offsite event all participants should follow the CDC, State and City guidelines along with the facility protocols in which they are attending the event.

KELLOGG FACULTY, STAFF AND ENROLLED STUDENTS

Faculty, staff and enrolled students are required to be vaccinated and boosted (with approved exceptions)

COMPASS/FLIK VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Compass/FLIK employees follow their company’s requirements and follow CDC guidelines regarding masks and testing.
