Eric will deliver his keynote address on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the White Auditorium.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Kellogg Keynote Contest and helped to make it a success! The votes are in – now it’s time to meet the winner: Eric Muhlberger. His video entry received the most votes of all student submissions (over 31% of total votes). As the winner, Eric will receive one-on-one coaching in preparation for the keynote and will also earn eligibility to be shortlisted for a Northwestern TEDx event in 2018.
Eric Muhlberger was born in Columbus, Ohio and graduated cum laude from Ohio University in 2011. He spent six years prior to Kellogg in Deloitte's IT Advisory and Human Capital Consulting practices, focusing primarily on building out Deloitte's capabilities to bring analytics-driven approaches to human-centered client opportunities. While traveling to Brooklyn for Deloitte, Eric discovered the London-based live music startup, Songs From a Room (Sofar Sounds). He independently founded Chicago’s chapter in 2013 and, with his team, built Chicago into the fourth largest market in the world (out of 370 cities). After transitioning Chicago city leadership responsibilities, Eric guided global expansion and monetization strategies, assisted in executing international experiential marketing programs, and helped secure private fundraising from Sir Richard Branson. Eric comes to Kellogg as a 1Y student with the goal of making "creative disruption" a foundational part of the Kellogg experience.
