Geoffrey Batzel

Geoff and family recently relocated to The Hague, Netherlands, after 10 good years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Commenting on the move from atop his new bicycle, he pointed out that “a change is as good as abreak, but change with a short break is even better.” Geoff continues to consult internationally on urban development and resiliency issues.

Christopher Bayham

Christopher was named CIO of the Year by the Nashville Technology Council as part of the 9th Annual NTC Awards. Chris serves as senior vice president and chief information officer at Change Healthcare, a health care technology company headquartered in Nashville, TN. He also recently joined the board of visitors for the College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama.

Dean Lindo

Dean and Katja Lindo ’04 moved to Munich, Germany, with their children, Niklas and Alec. They are pursuing their respective careers in PE and corporate management consulting and in sports/hospitality/digital marketing. They are excited about this new chapter of their lives.

Kevin Loftus

Kevin co-wrote “Gideon’s Cry” with twice-Grammy-nominated artist Elsten Torres, honoring Katie Evans, a 37-year old mother of six young children, killed by a driver charged with DUI. The song shares the story of an angel mother and the impact of her painful absence. The tune inspires hope and calls for the family to be strong and remain faithful on the journey that lies ahead.

Alexandre Malfitani

Alex works at Azul Brazilian Airlines, the company he helped co-found in 2008. Alex was part of the team that took the company public last year, listing it on the New York and the São Paulo stock exchanges. Alex was recently promoted to chief financial officer of Azul after running its loyalty program, TudoAzul, for three years.

Aaron Martin

Aaron moved from Amsterdam to Moscow in January to begin a new role as Brown-Forman Corporation’s country manager for Russia. He’s getting settled, enjoying the new adventure and looking forward to the World Cup. Drop him a line if you visit Moscow. He’ll be happy to introduce you to the wonders of pelmeni and vareniki.

Eric McAlpine

Eric founded and launched Momentum Cyber – the first investment bank dedicated to the cybersecurity industry – along with industry luminary Dave DeWalt, former FireEye CEO chairman and McAfee CEO, as well as Michael Tedesco, former head of M&A for Jefferies.

Rodolfo Novarini

Rodo, Dodi Tarantino ’02 and Jose Etchegoyen ’03 met in South Florida to share a beer and celebrate the end of the year when Jose stopped by on a visit from Bogota.

M. Andrea Paiz

Andrea had twins who turn 7 in April, a boy and girl. She has been managing her family’s specialty retail operation for 13 years, which includes the franchise Benetton and their own concept called KlassBags, both in Guatemala. Andrea has been a member or Rotary Club for 10 years, involved in community development programs.

Kim (Rosenkoetter) Powell

Kim recently published her first book, “The CEO Next Door,” highlighting what great CEOs do differently. The research was also featured on the cover of the May/June 2017 issue of Harvard Business Review.

Ryan Ross

Ryan has been named vice president of strategy and market analytics for IU Health in Indianapolis. He resides in Carmel, IN, with his family and would enjoy hearing from any Kellogg alumni coming through the Hoosier State.
