Michael Gruber

Michael co-manages Salveo Fund I, LLC as a managing partner. Salveo (www. salveocapital.com) is a private investment fund focused on investments within the legalized cannabis sector. The fund has already made investments across California, Colorado, Washington and Canada. The fund launched in December 2016, and will close to new investors in June 2018.

Rob Herman

Rob and Ken Brodkowitz ’96, classmates (and roommates) at Kellogg, have teamed up again. Rob is senior partner and Ken is chief investment officer at Gries Financial LLC, a registered investment adviser serving a high-net-worth and institutional audience. The firm, founded 40 years ago, continues to grow and they are enjoying the experience of working together.

Tim Leland

Tim moved to St. Louis, married Melissa and has a beautiful baby daughter, Taylor, who turned 1 at the end of January. Classmate John Danahy is Taylor’s godfather. On the professional side, after 20+ years in banking and private equity, Tim switched to corporate development and joined a PE-backed eyecare practice consolidator.

Sarath Ravipati

Sarath and Carla Ravipati ’96 moved to the Bay Area after five years in Perth, Australia. Sarath has worked for Chevron for 15 years and is looking forward to his new role: general manager of downstream procurement. Carla continues to manage a commercial real estate portfolio. They are excited to connect with their Kellogg classmates in the Bay Area.

Heather Hartung Vacek

Heather is vice president for academic affairs, dean of faculty and associate professor of church history at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Andre Walker

Andre and his spouse, Dr. Aixa Alfonso, celebrated their “birthdays with zeros” on a Mediterranean cruise with stops in Venice, Monte Carlo and Barcelona. Andre also recently celebrated his 10-year work anniversary with the University of Chicago, where he is a grants and contracts manager in university research administration, in the Office of Research, Innovation and National Labs.

Kirsten (Osgood) Wolberg

In November 2017, Kirsten joined DocuSign as chief technology and operations officer.
