Cahill milestone

Marking her 35th year of service to Kellogg on Oct. 25, Assistant Dean of Administrative Services Carole Cahill joined colleagues, including Dean Dipak C. Jain and other members of the Kellogg School administration, for a luncheon at the James L. Allen Center. An integral member of the Kellogg team for three decades, Cahill reflected on her tenure. "Each day, I like coming here," she said. "I don't think there has been a day when I've not been glad to be here." Cahill's arrival at Kellogg occurred by "total chance," she said: "I was lucky. The one job offered involved working with Dean Don Jacobs." Cahill recalled that her typing skills were modest, but over time her abilities and passion for the school found her assuming roles of increasing responsibility. Today, she plays a key part in managing human resources and facilities at Kellogg.
