Birt named director

In September, Dean Dipak C. Jain named Bernadette Birt to the position of director, domestic Executive MBA programs at the Kellogg School.

Birt, who has been with the EMBA program for more than 10 years, will be responsible for day-to-day management and operations of the Kellogg Regional and North American EMBA programs at the James L. Allen Center. "Her experience provides a wealth of ideas for continued innovation and excellence," said Dean Jain.

Birt will continue to report to Assistant Dean and EMBA Director Julie Cisek Jones. The realignment of roles is designed to allow Jones to focus on executing strategic and operational initiatives, particularly in the school's international EMBA portfolio, which includes the recently founded Kellogg-Miami Program.
