Lakshman Krishnamurthi pens an article about India’s fast-growing population in The Wall Street Journal

4/13/2011 - A recent article by Lakshman Krishnamurthi, the A. Montgomery Ward Professor of Marketing, sets out to answer a sizeable question: Why is India’s “demographic dividend” expected to soon lag China’s?

The April 8 piece, published in The Wall Street Journal’s India Real Time blog, focuses on India’s demographics and the need for the country to invest in education and agriculture to improve the lives of its working population. The article was co-authored by Sugandha Khandelwal, a former research associate at the Kellogg School.
