We are excited to share some news about the events being planned for this summer and early fall. We will kick off the summer program with a picnic and barbecue at the end of July -- an informal gathering for alums and their families to meet and to get to know one another. Watch for details and specific dates in the mail, as we complete the planning for the event.

We will follow up with a speaker event in early September. The president and COO of a leading alcoholic beverage company will speak on globalization and building global careers. The event will also feature some product tasting of world-renowned brands.

We will wrap up the year's activities with a special event: an evening with Dean Dipak Jain. Dean Jain will visit the club in October, providing an opportunity to learn more about his vision for the school, the role of alumni in achieving the vision, and what the school is doing to help alums become more successful in their careers. This is an event that many people have been waiting for, and will be a tremendous opportunity to meet and interact with senior administrators from the school.

Look for separate mailers in the next few weeks. We are hoping for a great turnout and also looking for volunteers to help organize these events.
