Club of Brazil
On Dec. 5, the Kellogg Alumni Club of Brazil held its first annual holiday lunch at the Bar des Artes. Alumni from several graduating classes and their families enjoyed a wonderful feijoada buffet outdoors on a sunny summer afternoon. Based on this experience, we expect this event to become an annual staple.
On Feb. 4, the KAC hosted a welcome reception for future Class of 2012 members. This fall, 14 Brazilians will initiate their coursework in Evanston, and the KAC showed up in strong numbers to welcome them and give tips on campus life, Chicago winters, classes and professors, etc. In attendance from the new class were Mariana Lopes, Márcio Zapater, Jorge Troyko, Mauricio Teramoto and Jorge Schwoelk |
