The Energizing Leader

  1. The Emotionally Intelligent Leader
  2. Research suggests that the most effective leaders are those who are “Emotionally Intelligent.” In this course, you’ll learn how to improve your emotional intelligence quotient.

  3. Understanding Your Leadership Brand
  4. Stop trying to emulate other great leaders. Instead, discover and develop the leadership potential you already possess to energize people for performance. 


Strategies for Energizing Individuals & Teams

Individuals, Teams, & Organizations 

  1. Developing Positive Interactions
  2. Understand how to develop positive interactions with your direct and indirect reports.

  3. Coaching Others
  4. Research shows that coaching is the most effective way of grooming others for leadership. In this session, you’ll learn core coaching skills and practice with peers in class.

  5. Communicating to Energize People
  6. In this course, you’ll be exposed to strategies for effectively communicating with key stakeholders for maximum performance.


Special Features:

  1. Participants will leave with tailored action plans that they craft as they go through a series of reflective action learning exercises.
  2. Optional small-group coaching sessions with faculty and peer group: If you would like input from experienced faculty on your specific people challenges, you can sign up for an individual or small group coaching session.
  3. Partner with a Kellogg Leadership Coach who can work with you after the program to help implement your plan as you navigate those challenges that are specific to your people and your organization. For an additional $1,500, you will receive three 45-minute, post-program private coaching sessions via phone.
