Parking and Transportation

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) trains and buses around the city are easily accessible from and near campus. For information on the train and bus schedules, fares and maps, please refer to the CTA Web Page.  The closest CTA train stop is the Chicago Ave. Red Line stop.  

Intercampus Shuttle
Intercampus shuttles run between the Evanston and Chicago campus. Free Enterprise buses are contracted to service this route. The Intercampus Shuttle runs year-round from Monday to Friday, except for University holidays, between the Evanston and Chicago campuses. All buses are wheelchair accessible, except in the event of equipment malfunction. There is no charge for the shuttle service; however, you must present your WildCARD ID when boarding the shuttle.  Click here for the shuttle schedule.

Train Station Shuttles
Two train station shuttles, both operated by Free Enterprise, are available to students: Union/Ogilvie and Randolph/LaSalle. You may purchase tickets for these shuttles in the Part-Time MBA Program Office in Chicago (cash or check only). Pick-up and drop-off locations, shuttle schedules, and the SafeRide Service schedule (i.e., late night service) are available here.     

Ticket Prices:
$17.50 for 10 rides (available at the Evening & Weekend office and Abbott Hall)
$42 for monthly pass (available at Abbott Hall)

University Police Safety Escorts are available in the event that you do not feel safe walking to your car or other on-campus location.  Just call 312-503-3456 (or 456 from a campus phone).  

Metered street parking is available within the immediate area of Wieboldt Hall.  However, due to construction, many streets are unavailable for parking.  Plan ahead and allow plenty of time to find parking if you are parking on the street.  It is recommended that students and guests park in the parking garages in the area.  Click here to view the parking garage options.  

Please see the list below of recommended Taxi Cab Companies.  For immediate cab service, we recommend the nearest taxi stand, located at the South-East corner of N McClurg Ct and E Huron St.  You can also get a discount to and from Wieboldt using the Uber app.  Click here for more info!
