Canvas
Canvas is a cloud-hosted learning management system (LMS), powered by Instructure, that allows Northwestern instructors and students to deliver course materials, submit assignments and tests, view grades, and create learning activities.

Course Syllabi
Course syllabi can be found in Course Planning (be sure to find the correct section that you are registered for) or Canvas.  If it is not posted, the professor will distribute it in class.

Textbooks and First Class Assignments
Book lists, case packet lists, and assignments due at the first meeting of a class can be found in the class syllabus, which is available in Course Planning or Canvas. Textbooks can be ordered through the University bookstore.  The bookstore typically has extended hours two weeks prior to the start of a quarter and two weeks after (weeknights until 6:00pm and Saturdays 11am-3pm).  All other weeks the business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.   Please check the bookstore website for the most current information or call 312-503-8486.  For convenience, students can also order books online and shipped directly to them.

Ordering Digital Case Packets- Study.Net
In effort to go green, Kellogg provides digital case packets via Study.Net.  However, if you would like a printed copy, you can indicate this in your order.  Case packets can be shipped to you directly or be picked up at Wieboldt Hall during the first two weeks of the quarter.  Case packets are typically available for purchase starting 2 weeks prior to the start of the quarter.

Audio Recording a Class
While attending every class is expected, students may be faced with an unavoidable absence.  To stay caught up, students can ask a classmate to audio record the class.  Easy-to-use equipment is available to check out through the KIS office on the first floor.  Please note that students MUST get professor approval to audio record the class.
