Atlanta

The Atlanta alumni club has been enjoying an exciting speaker series. We kicked off the first full year of our new breakfast series in conjunction with Wharton and INSEAD. Our first speaker, on Sept. 25, was Beauchamp Carr, executive vice president, Atlanta Arts Alliance (comprising the
Alliance Theater, Atlanta Symphony, High Museum of Art and Atlanta College of Art). He was followed by J. Walker Smith, president, Yankelovich Partners, on Nov. 11.

The rest of our lineup is: Jan. 29: A venture capital panel chaired by Dr. Teo Dagi, managing partner, Cordova Ventures. Feb.26: Philip Kent, chairman and CEO, Turner Broadcasting Corp. March 25: Speaker TBA. Our topic will focus on the retail industry. We expect to confirm a nationally recognized leader in this field. Check www.acteva/com/go/wkiatlanta for updates. April 29: Frank Weise, chairman and CEO, Cott Beverages Inc. Cott traces its roots to Columbus, Ga., and is the largest contract bottler in the world. This event will focus on store brand vs. national brand marketing strategies.

Our breakfast series is held at the Buckhead Club with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and the speaker presentation at 8 a.m. Each event is $25, which includes breakfast and parking. You may bring a guest for $30, an option not available to others due to limited seating. Registrations are handled through Acteva. Please visit www.acteva.com/go/wkiatlanta for more information. We look forward to seeing you at these events.
