Kellogg Executive Women's Programs

The Kellogg School of Management presents two executive education programs specifically designed to help talented female executives break through barriers and become equipped and empowered to be respected and effective leaders.

Developed by the Kellogg Center for Executive Women and lead by world-renowned faculty, these programs help you develop the specific skills and broad-based perspectives required to rise to the highest levels of an organization – all in a highly collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Empowering Women: From the Poker Table to a Seat at the Executive Leadership Table

Kellogg is partnering with Poker Power to offer a unique and highly innovative program that will provide women across all levels of their companies with an opportunity to develop key leadership skills in an educational, supportive, engaging and entertaining environment.

Women's Director Development Program

Discover the keys to unlocking boardroom doors in this first-ever director development program for women seeking a role in governance. Develop the skills required to contribute meaningfully and come away with practical tools for landing a seat at the table.

Who Should Attend

  • Senior women executives seeking directorships
  • Women directors seeking opportunities on Fortune 1000 boards
  • Women with the financial literacy, business acumen, perspective and experience necessary to perform well in a governance role

2022 Sessions

November 2-4, 2022

Start: November 2 at 8:00 AM

End: November 4 at 12:30 PM

Format: In-Person on Evanston campus

An admissions committee thoroughly reviews each application and considers the nature and scope of the applicant's responsibilities for admittance to this competitive program. As part of your application to this program, you are required to submit a letter of recommendation from either your CEO or a sitting board member of your choice to endorse your qualifications. Class size is limited to maximize participation, so early application is encouraged. The Women’s Director Development Program applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed upon submission until the program fills.

Women's Senior Leadership Program

Kellogg created this special leadership program for women executives to equip top female talent to break through the barriers that have historically impeded their career development and empower them to take their place at the highest levels of corporate leadership.

Who Should Attend

Corporate officers and other similar-level female executives who already have extensive functional skills and want to hone the other leadership capabilities necessary for securing a position at the very highest levels of an organization.

2022 Session

Week 1: October 12-14, 2022
Week 2: February 22-24, 2023
Week 3: May 10-12, 2023
Week 4: September 20-22, 2023

Start: October 11 at 11:30 AM

End: September 20 at 12:15 PM

Format: In-Person on Evanston campus

All modules follow a similar structure, beginning at 11:30 AM (incl. lunch) on Day 1 and ending at 12:15 PM (with optional lunch until 1:30 PM) on Day 3.

Participants must attend all four modules.

This Approval Program is limited to individuals with specific business experience. All applications will be subject to review and approval from the program’s Academic Director.
