Symposium: State-Based Health Insurance Exchanges – The Way Forward

Welcome:

This symposium will provide a forum for a broad-based discussion about the potential advantages and disadvantages of operating a state-based exchange. Executive directors of several state-based health insurance exchanges will discuss both successes and challenges of their first year of operation. The discussion will inform policymakers, regulators, industry stakeholders, and consumer advocacy organizations on the steps needed to successfully establish and operate state-based health insurance exchanges.

True to our Kellogg values, this conference is a collaborative effort between Kellogg and the State of Illinois’ Health Insurance Marketplace.

We hope to make the most of our time together through the formal program and networking opportunities. We are delighted to host you at Kellogg and look forward to exchanging ideas and perspectives with you.

On behalf of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, we thank you for joining us.
