EMP-45 met in October in Napa Valley for a whirlwind mini-reunion and tour of eight wineries and vineyards. The crew visited Hartwell, Darioush, Stelzner (which included lunch and a tasting and history with Mr. Stelzner), Pine Ridge, S Anderson, Montlena, Sterling (which included lunch, tasting and a tour), and Opus One. The group also mingled with the wildlife on a real safari at Safari West. This amazing tour was organized by Kevin Beckett.

Kellogg EMP-45 met in Miami for a weekend at the beach. The class toured Lincoln Road and several nice establishments along the beach, while enjoying great weather and company.

	Kelly Chapman EMP-45 has just released a CD called "Real."

Kelly Chapman released her CD "Real" and treated hundreds of fans to her special singing talents at a concert to celebrate the event in Cleveland's PSC Ohio Theatre. In attendance were Kevin EMP-45 and Ellie Beckett and Kevin Quincey EMP-45.

Dan Rice has been appointed to the advisory board of GradPAC. Dan graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1998, and is a senior business development officer and vice president of the U.S. Trust Co. of New York, who is active in a number of veterans' and national security causes. He co-founded Operation Enduring Support to assist National Guard and Reserve soldiers deployed after September 11, 2001. He also serves as president of AcademyConnect, a national alumni association comprised of graduates of the federal service academies. Additionally, he is a member of the Business Executives for National Security and a trustee for the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier Museum.

In 2003, Dan sought and hired a Los Angeles, Calif.-based production company to film a 10-part documentary on distinguished graduates of West Point, Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The television documentary is slated to be released in late 2004, with a companion book to follow.

May 2005 will mark our five-year reunion in Evanston. We'll be sending out a poll soon to see how likely you will be attend Reunion, as well as a winter event, possibly in Colorado. We will focus our planning energies on the more popular of the two destinations.
