Congratulations to Terrell Anderson who was recognized for leadership in Chicago United's 2011 Business Leaders of Color publication. Chicago United is an advocacy organization that promotes multiracial leadership in business to advance parity in economic opportunity. Since leaving grad school, Terrell moved from JP Morgan Chase to join ShoreBank as vice president, project management office and from their rose to senior vice president, operations, where, among other accomplishments, he developed operational scorecards for all of the units. Terrell is now chief operations officer of Urban Partnership Bank and even with all of his success, will tell you with that great smile that he is just doing his job. Terrell was quoted in the magazine as saying "The challenge in managing teams is to create a learning environment that's receptive to change. You create that dynamic by exhibiting leadership through motivation, communication, and creating a culture of engagement."

Sam Coady recently pulled a few folks together for drinks and dinner. Little did the attendees Rochelle Michalek, Terrell Anderson, John O'Connor and Sarita Rao know that it was all a ploy to get us to join his efforts to pull together a reunion committee. Luckily, Reggie Walker and Jane (Karpinski) Ott joined the team as well!

A mini EMP-50 reunion with Rochelle Michalek, Terrell Anderson, Sam Coady, John O’Connor and Sarita Rao, all EMP-50
