Tina Donahue has been, not surprisingly, involved in many pursuits since we all graduated in 1992. After "retiring" from the Joint Commission Resources in 1999, she started her own consulting company called the KTD Group, which provided business management and alternative health consulting. She retired again in 2009 when Tom and she spent the winter in Florida. Fun, fun, fun! She has been active on several NFP boards, and that led to her latest position for the last two years, as president of Mount Assisi Academy, a Catholic high school for girls and her alma mater. It was a challenge, but she was honored to give back to her high school by helping them fundraise and market to strengthen the school's viability in a difficult fiscal environment. Tina is now "retired" once again, and Tom and she are enjoying winters in Florida swimming and golfing. She's learning to play the guitar, enjoys practicing yoga and has returned to her RN roots by volunteering in open heart surgery at their SW Florida heart hospital. She is a cantor and sings in their church choirs in Florida and back home in Orland Park, Ill. She says she didn't dream retirement could be so much fun! She wishes the best to all her EMP-24 classmates, and hopes to see all someday soon. Tina can be reached at ktdgrp@gmail.com.
