Students enrolled in this sequence of courses manage a portion of the Kellogg School’s endowment. The courses combine investment theory with exposure to leading practitioners. Students will rotate across roles of industry analysts, traders, quantitative analysts, and portfolio managers. All students are required to take three full quarters of credit in the practicum. For two-year full-time and all part-time students, this consists of FINC 933, plus two quarters from FINC 934, 935 and 936. Students completing the first three quarters of the practicum have the option of registering for the fourth quarter (FINC 936 or 936C). For one-year full-time students, the requirement consists of FINC 934, 935 and 936

Prerequisites for 933: FINC 430: Finance I and FINC 441: Finance II (or FINC 440: Finance I/II).
Corequisites for 933: Students registering for Finance 933 must have taken or be simultaneously registered for FINC 463: Security Analysis or FINC 444: Value Investing.Click here for additional corequisites.

Practicum students have access to a large array of analytical tools and data. The class includes training sessions on Bloomberg, Thomson One, FactSet, MSCI/Barra and Bloodhound.
