Research Computing >> Prospective RAs or study participants

Note to faculty: Pertinent information about research assistants is posted in our Grants & RAs web page.

Only current Northwestern University undergraduate or graduate students are eligible for research assistantships. The work of a research assistant (RA) varies greatly from faculty member to faculty member, and from research project to research project, ranging from data entry and library searches, to data management and statistical estimations, helping out to setup online surveys or computer studies, to summarizing information from sources in languages other than English. Since a new RA typically requires some training, researchers usually prefer to hire the same person until he/she graduates.
To facilitate matching between prospective RAs and faculty members, we have created an online survey about the skills most sought after by Kellogg faculty members. Keep in mind that faculty look for RAs throughout the year. This survey is designed to help Kellogg faculty members hire Northwestern University students as research assistants.
