The Ford Center’s research develops rigorous frameworks to manage corporate crises successfully. It particularly focuses on crises involving the media, political activists and the political / regulatory environment.


The Ford Center is dedicated to providing managers with conceptual tools and frameworks to master corporate crisis and turn challenges into opportunities.

As part of its mission the Center offers:
  • An intense crisis management workshop for executives through the James L. Allen Center
  • A week-long course on crisis management as part of the Kellogg Executive MBA Program and International Executive MBA Programs designed and taught by Professor Timothy J. Feddersen
  • A week-long, pre-term workshop for full-time MBA students on Values and Crisis Decision making
