Health and Wellness

If I am an Evening & Weekend student, do I have access to Northwestern health facilities?

Open/Close

Yes, you have access to the Northwestern’s health facilities, however it is recommended that you check with your healthcare provider prior to make sure that it is in-network.

If you have health-related concerns, please contact Dean Krueger at m-krueger@kellogg.northwestern.edu. Additionally, please utilize Northwestern’s FAQ for more information on health resources.

What are the testing requirements for in person evening and weekend students?

Open/Close

All students, regardless of vaccination status, must complete a COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to coming to Wieboldt Hall for a class or an event. Students must also complete a test 72 hours after being on campus.

Students can either test on campus (the Jacobs Center in Evanston or at 345 East Superior Street in Chicago) and the results will be uploaded to the Northwestern system via Navica.

If you are testing at home, you must upload the results to Origami. Please also write the date that the test was taken on the test before uploading the result.

How will Kellogg prioritize safety?

Open/Close

Our first priority is, and will continue to be, the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff.

Kellogg will follow State of Illinois and CDC guidelines and Northwestern University’s Phased Return to Campus plan, as well as the mandates of local governing authorities.

The protocols and guidelines are only a component of the safety plan. The community including faculty, staff and students must hold each other accountable to prioritize the safety of us all.

Tuition & Fees

What if I need financial aid or more flexibility in paying my tuition?

We understand that these unprecedented times can result in unforeseen financial hardship. The Student Finance Team (studentaccounts-chicago@northwestern.edu) and Financial Aid Team (financial-aid-chicago@northwestern.edu) are available to discuss options with you. Your primary point of contact in Financial Aid is TarKia Aponte at tarkia.aponte@northwestern.edu.

Will there still be Kellogg Table?

Open/Close
Yes, we are currently considering additional safety and health precautions to deliver a wonderful Kellogg Table experience.

Can I defer my admission if we are ‘non-local’ and now required to be remote?

Open/Close
As we have always done, Kellogg will evaluate deferral requests from admitted students on a case-by-case basis since each situation is unique. Admitted students can submit a request for deferment that will be reviewed by our admissions team.

How do you choose which classes are fully remote versus hybrid?

Open/Close
The modality of the course depends on multiple factors, primarily depending on the preference of the faculty member teaching the course.

How can I help shape the co-curricular experience?

Open/Close
We are always open to your ideas and will do everything we can to support them. Please reach out to the KSA leaders or Megan Krueger to share your ideas.
