Plan Your Trip

Plan your #KelloggReunion trip. We can’t wait to see you!

We’re thrilled to welcome you back to campus for Reunion, Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Reunion offers two full days of class celebrations, thought leadership sessions and plenty of opportunities to grow your network — plus a little friendly competition with the Reunion Cup Challenge.

Explore the sections below to get ready for your trip and enjoy an inspiring Reunion.

Kellogg has reserved hotel blocks with special rates for Reunion attendees. Please mention Kellogg Reunion when booking hotels over the phone.

Area hotel blocks may not be available after April 1, 2020. Book ahead of time to ensure your preferred reservation is secured.

Hotels are listed in order of proximity to the Kellogg Global Hub (2211 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208)

Hilton Orrington
1.2 miles from the Kellogg Global Hub
Room blocks only available through April 3, 2020

Hilton Garden Inn
1.3 miles from the Kellogg Global Hub

Hyatt House
1.3 miles from the Kellogg Global Hub

Holiday Inn Chicago North
1.5 miles from the Kellogg Global Hub

Additional Northwestern preferred hotels (no room blocks confirmed)

If you’re traveling by air, you may fly in to one of Chicago’s two airports:

O’Hare Airport (ORD) is approximately 18 miles from the Evanston campus and 45 minutes by car.

Midway Airport (MDW) is approximately 26 miles from the Evanston campus and an hour by car.

Travel times are heavily affected by Chicago-area traffic conditions, so please plan accordingly.

Limos, taxis and ride-sharing options such as Uber and Lyft are readily available at both airports. Due to the number of transfers required, public transportation is not recommended when traveling from either airport to Evanston.

Kellogg Global Hub: 2211 Campus Drive, Evanston, Illinois 60208
James L. Allen Center: 2169 Campus Drive, Evanston, Illinois 60208

Please note that the cost of transportation to and from campus is not included in registration fees.

Arrival & Departure Times

To take full advantage of Reunion activities, we recommend that you arrive on Thursday, April 30, and depart on Sunday, May 3.

Official Reunion programming begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1, with the first thought leadership sessions and ends with Saturday night class parties.

Since many Reunion committees host class and cohort events in addition to official Kellogg programming, we recommend checking your class page for a schedule of special events to inform the timing of your trip.

Cancellation Policy

We hope you can make it to Reunion but understand that unforeseen conflicts arise. Please submit your cancellation request no later than April 24 to receive a full refund. In lieu of a refund, you may also choose to donate your registration fees as a gift to the Kellogg Annual Fund. A gift of any amount can help your class win the Reunion Cup Challenge!

Submit registration change requests via email, phone (847.467.2586) or in writing to the Kellogg Reunion Team, 1007 Church Street, Suite 400, Evanston, IL 60201.

If you are unable to attend the on-campus event, we invite you to log on to the Reunion livestream and follow the conversation using #KelloggReunion on social media.

Child Care & Family Activities

Reunion activities have been planned for alumni and their adult guests ages 21 and older. You may wish to obtain child care for times other than the family-friendly activities offered on Saturday, May 2:

  • 9:30-11:30 a.m. - The Future Alumni Children’s Workshop
    Kellogg Global Hub
This interactive workshop is recommended for children ages 8-12 to engage in fun ways to imagine starting their own businesses. The workshop is available for an additional fee and requires preregistration through the Reunion registration website. Register early. Space is limited.

  • 12:30-3 p.m. - Family Picnic
    Reunion Tent, Lakefill North
Children ages 18 and younger are welcome to join parents free of charge for a delicious barbecue and family-friendly activities.

Committees & Class Activities

Class committees and cohort leaders are fellow alumni who have volunteered to raise awareness of Reunion activities, invite participation in the Reunion Cup Challenge and plan opportunities to bring their individual classes together during Reunion weekend.

It’s likely that you’ll hear from a classmate personally to invite you back to Reunion!

Visit your class page for a full list of committee members or cohort leaders and events planned especially for your class.

Dress Code

While there is no official dress code for Reunion (we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your weekend), business casual is a good rule of thumb for most of the weekend. The exception is the Saturday night class parties, where casual cocktail or business attire is appropriate.

Remember that Chicago weather can be unpredictable, so check the forecast and plan to dress in layers.

For wardrobe inspiration from past Reunions, check out our photo albums.

International Alumni

If you are traveling internationally to attend Reunion and need a letter to apply for a visa, please email the Reunion team to request a letter.

Meals & Dietary Restrictions

Kellogg works to accommodate dietary restrictions by providing a range of food options at Reunion events. If you have a specific dietary restriction or allergy, please email the Reunion team to notify us.

Nursing Mothers

If you need access to a lactation room in the Kellogg Global Hub during Reunion Weekend, please email our Reunion team. We are happy to schedule time for you.

Parking & Transportation

On-Campus Parking
On-campus parking is limited, so we strongly recommend securing alternative means of transportation to Reunion Weekend activities.

If you decide to drive and park on campus, allow extra time to park and locate the Kellogg Global Hub (2211 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208).

Permits are required for all campus lots Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you choose to park in one of the surface lots, be sure to display a visitor parking permit during these hours. A parking permit hangtag will be provided for you at the Foster Street & Maple Avenue parking lot. Otherwise, please visit the Kellogg Global Hub information desk to obtain a permit.

Those with accessibility issues may request a shuttle pickup from campus garages and surface lots. Please call 847.864.9270 to request the shuttle.

Foster Street & Maple Avenue Parking Lot (Preferred parking for shuttle service)
A free shuttle will travel from the surface parking lot at the intersection of Foster Street and Maple Avenue to the Kellogg Global Hub on Friday, May 1, 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Please request a parking permit from the shuttle driver to place in your car.

Parking Garages
Limited general parking is available in the North Campus Parking Garage (2311 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208) and the South Campus Parking Garage (1841 Campus Drive, Evanston, IL 60208).

Enter the garage, take the parking ticket to open the gate and proceed to park. Gates will be opened after 4 p.m. and payment is not required. If you need to exit the garage before 4 p.m. on Friday, May 1, press the call button and mention “Reunion Weekend,” and the gate will be opened for you.

Transportation to & Parking for Off-Campus Reunion Parties
Reunion class parties on Saturday, May 2, are held at the Field Museum of Chicago and various venues in downtown Chicago. Parking is very limited at class party venues, so we encourage you to use alternate means of transportation.

Field Museum Party
For Full-Time MBA classes of 2000 to Half-Century Club and all alumni from Evening & Weekend MBA and EMBA programs

Reunion Cup Challenge

Win the Reunion Cup Challenge: Celebrate your Reunion with a gift today!

The Reunion Cup Challenge is a giving competition with bragging rights for the alumni group showing the most Kellogg pride through giving participation. Full-Time and Evening & Weekend alumni will compete together by their respective class years, while EMBA alumni will compete collectively across class years.

To participate, simply make a gift to the Annual Fund in honor of your Reunion milestone. Gifts at every giving level count toward your participation total and increase the potential for your group to win the cup! We encourage you to make a gift that is of personal significance to you.

The group with the highest giving participation (based on the number of donors) will win the Reunion Cup, which will be presented in front of the alumni community on Saturday, May 2.
