A workshop featuring demonstrations by a variety of schools sharing their faculty onboarding processes, checklists, and orientations. Followed by a group of strengths and weaknesses of academic culture and student expectations. This workshop seeks to identify pain points, opportunities for greater efficiency, and solutions.

Developing a Faculty Systems Strategy for Northwestern
- 163

This workshop will begin by reviewing information regarding current systems at Northwestern which support aspects of the faculty lifecycle (recruitment, information management, promotion and tenure, etc.) at both the University-wide level and the school level. Attendees will identify areas of overlap, as well as aspects of the faculty lifecycle for which there is no support system. Group discussion to identify and prioritize current and future faculty system needs.
