In April, Kurt Bradtmueller started a new position as the director of marketing and business development for Panasonic Factory Automation Group (PFA). In this role, Kurt is responsible for setting the marketing direction and building the marketing group for PFA, located in Elgin. In addition, he is working with some of the other groups within PFA to develop new business models that will generate revenue, and is managing the logistics function for the company as well.

Carl Castrogiovanni has been promoted to manager of business development at Harley-Davidson. In this role, Carl has key projects in dealer development, enthusiast services and new markets. Carl spent the last year helping to start up and run Harley-Davidson's brand-new production facility in York, Pa., as part of Harley's leadership development program. Outside of work, Carl is revving up to start renovating an old factory building in Milwaukee and convert it to a cool loft. Reach Carl on his cell phone at 414.336.5879.

After making seven moves and living on three continents, Katherine Sung and her husband finally settled in Hong Kong. She has been working for Citibank Hong Kong in marketing since last year September. Moreover, the couple enjoyed a new addition to their family. Cyrus, born in February, has brought them new beginning and hope, they say.

Nivedita Roy Ghatak and her husband Mitul just returned from a month-long vacation to India. It was their first visit home since their wedding on May 9, 2003. The visit spanned the cities of Lucknow, Calcutta and Delhi, and included some very special events --- one wedding (her brother's) and four receptions (including the couple's own, as well as Nivedita's brother's). Mitul and Niv are now back in sweet Iowa City, Iowa, and enjoying the much cooler weather!

Rick Pollock and his wife Kelly welcomed a baby boy on April 20. Evan Richard weighed in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. The new parents are enjoying their new addition.

Rachel Affrunti took a job as manager, supplier quality at Rexam Beverage Can Americas in March. Rachel is responsible for development and implementation of the supplier quality program, and works at the company's Chicago headquarters.
