EMP-34

Whoever said, "What goes around, comes around," must have had T.S. Shankar in mind. First, he has rejoined Packaging Corp. of America in Lake Forest in a new role as manager of operations planning. In addition to optimizing production at the mills, he also manages truck and rail shipments. In other news, his son Ravi is now a freshman at our alma mater, Northwestern University, working on a bachelors degree in economics. His wife Rama is an independent consultant in the area of quality and lean manufacturing.

With his tremendous personal commitment to the U.S. Navy Reserves, Shankar was promoted last year to full commander (the equivalent of lieutenant colonel in the Army). So, soldier, why not give him a little phone or email support at 800.456.4725 ext. 2372 or raviv1@juno.com. Congrats, Shankar, and thanks for helping us to be a little bit safer.
