EMP-28

Bob Andersen reported in during Reunion time. In March 2003, Bob retired as chairman of the department of surgery at Duke University Medical Center, relinquishing most of his administrative duties overseeing some 750 staff members. He's back to taking care of patients, doing surgery and teaching, including a course at Fuqua called Medical Devices and Innovation.

Shiro Okazaki recently helped translate the Kellogg School text Kellogg on Integrated Marketing into Japanese. Fourteen alums in Japan spearheaded the project, with publication slated for October. Shiro remains chief executive officer of Nijio Co Ltd., a joint venture between Shell and Tokyo Gas.
