The board of directors of CF Industries Inc. unanimously elected Stephen R. Wilson president and CEO of the company effective in October. Stephen had been serving as interim president and CEO of the firm since July 2003.

Stephen joined CF in 1991 as senior vice president and chief financial officer following a lengthy career with Inland Steel Industries Inc. CF Industries is one of North America's largest interregional cooperatives, owned by and serving eight regional cooperatives.
